Although the heyday of post-modernist thinking in Sociology has probably passed, many ofthe impulses which made the discipline so receptive to the blandishments of that mode of thinking remain. This collection picks out several ways in which forms of post-modernism have been deployed in Sociology and its application especially to the design of digital systems. and tries to set out and assesses their likely long term success.
